Get Ready for Inflation and Higher Interest Rates Thursday, June 11, 2009 - The unprecedented expansion of the money supply could make the '70s look benign.
I have written about this in previous Blogs as I beleive the only way for a person to protect themslves is to invest in land which traditionally has proven itself to be reliable during inflationary periods.
Here's an excerpt by Arthur B. Laffer about impending inflation:
'It's difficult to estimate the magnitude of the inflationary and interest-rate consequences of the Fed's actions because, frankly, we haven't ever seen anything like this in the U.S. To date what's happened is potentially far more inflationary than were the monetary policies of the 1970s, The percentage increase in the monetary base is the largest increase in the past 50 years.'
All these measures taken by the Government I beleive are going to result in potentially double digit inflation. Everyone should take advantageof todays low land prices to protect themselves.
